Going For Grace is a place for feminine inspiration with a Southern flair. Covering everything from style and travels to home and recipes, I hope to inspire others to live a life of grace. The name was inspired by the following verse.
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”
2 Peter 3:18
Every word in this verse is how I want to live my life. Not only do I want to bring glory to His name by using the passions and talents that He has given me but I also want to be constantly growing in His grace! Since Growing in Grace was already a taken name I started thinking of the ways in which I try and live out God’s grace in my own life and there it was… I am always “going for grace”. Whether that be in the way that I treat others, the way that I carry myself, or even the type of clothes that I wear. I hope to encourage others to radiate grace in every aspect of this life!
Raised in East Tennessee, I am the oldest of four children. My momma and daddy have always been my role models in both marriage and a close walk with the Lord. They filled our childhood with so many nights of laughter, Disney movies, family get togethers, holiday fun, imagination, and love for which I am forever grateful!
I married my childhood sweetheart in 2015 and ever since life has been a whirlwind of breath taking moments! I love every aspect of being a wife and one day a mother.
I have a heart for Jesus, my husband, my big family, the South, any kind of pie, Mexican food, organization, and tennis!
I started my first blog as a hobby and project to save all of the recipes that I love to make in one place while also challenging myself to create new recipes. Once I got a taste of blogging, I fell in love with the creative outlet that it provided for me and decided to grow my little piece of the internet into what is now Going For Grace.
Thank you all for following along!
