Happy Thursday friends!
The best part of January… Citrus season! My body has been craving all of the fruit lately, especially oranges. While making this smoothie I realized how much oranges remind me of summer travel basketball. Every time I eat one, see one, or smell one my mind goes straight to a hot gym in the summer time!
By adding the blood oranges, this smoothie becomes slightly sweeter and less acidic than using all regular oranges. Plus, they are beautiful! As soon as I started shooting these smoothies I regretted not buying extras for the photos!
