Happy Monday friends!
I have been looking forward to this post all weekend. One, because who doesn’t love a light field jacket for Fall?! Two, because Marley Lilly has been one of my favorite company’s to shop from ever since I was in college. (I carried one of their monogrammed tote bags full of books every day of my life!) I can’t tell you the joy it brings me to be partnering with them today!
As a southern girl, I know the importance of a monogram. Also, I am forever thankful that my parents gave me a first and middle name that start with the same letter… The symmetry… Be still my heart! If you have lived or spent any time in the South then you probably are familiar with our love for monograms.
Tote bag, monogram it…
Diaper bag, monogram it…
Jacket, monogram it…
New dog, well… Can’t monogram him, but go ahead and put that monogrammed bandana on him!
Today, I wanted to share with you all this adorable monogrammed field jacket from Marley Lilly and two different ways to style it. I love this jacket because it really is so versatile and perfect for the unpredictability of Fall weather. The sleeves can be worn buttoned up when it’s a little warmer or down when you need more warmth. Field jackets are ideal for Fall due to their lighter fabric, which makes them the perfect layering piece!
Here I paired the field jacket over top of a sleeveless top with a detailed ruffle front, a tan corduroy mini skirt, and brown riding boots. (I love adding different textures such as the corduroy and ruffles to create depth in an outfit!) This styling would be perfect for the weather today – High of 78° but low of 50°. This second look would be a go to for cooler days or “sweater weather”. Here I paired the field jacket over top of a soft cable sweater, a detailed statement necklace, white denim jeans, and brown riding boots. You can click on any of the product images below to shop that specific piece!
