As women, one thing we can all agree on is that it is no easy feat finding a shoe that is comfortable, durable, and gorgeous. We actually consider ourselves lucky if a shoe meets only two of those criteria! I’m sure you know the debacle: You find a shoe that is beautiful, buy them, wear them to work the next day, and your feet are howling by lunch. We’ve all been there one too many times! So it should come as no surprise that when I finally found a shoe that was the triple threat – comfortable, durable, and gorgeous – I haven’t been able to stop talking about them. So much so, that I became one of their Brand Ambassadors! I’m talking about you, Sarah Flint

I first discovered Sarah Flint shoes when Meghan Markle wore the Natalie Flat on her first official appearance with Prince Harry as a couple to the Invictus Games. Once I saw the photos of her pretty bow flats I headed to the Sarah Flint website to check out the new to me brand. Upon reading Sarah’s story, I was immediately intrigued and have been following Sarah Flint on Instagram ever since, but it was when I got my very first pair of Sarah Flint shoes that I knew I had finally struck shoe gold. Plus, let me say it… They are designed by a WOMAN!

About Sarah Flint

Passionate about women’s shoes and frustrated that women had to choose between a shoe that looked good or felt good, Sarah started her shoe brand at the young age of 25. She set out to create a brand that was classically elegant on the outside and packed with comfort on the inside. In just a few years her shoes graced the feet of Amal Clooney, Meghan Markle, Karlie Kloss, and Cindy Crawford. I mean, Meghan Markle wore the Perfect Pump on their royal tour… That says something about their comfort!

What captured me the most about Sarah Flint shoes is the commitment to every single detail. Sarah fell in love with hand-made, artisanal details during her time at Ars Sutoria in Italy where she studied shoe pattern making and production. Because of this, her shoes are handcrafted in Italy by the artisans who make the highest quality luxury shoes in the world. This becomes evident when you hold a pair of her stunning shoes in your hands and can see how much thought has gone into each pair. All at a direct to consumer price… I’m sold!

Sarah Flint Sizing

When it comes to sizing I can only speak from my own experience. Keep in mind that I had never owned a pair of Italian shoes before, but my typical US size was a 7.5. After trying a few sizes, I order a size IT 38 in Sarah Flint shoes for a perfect fit. Be sure to check the “Fit Notes” on each shoe’s page when deciding on a size. They are very helpful!

Sarah Flint Natalie Flat

The Natalie Flat is my most worn pair of Sarah Flint shoes so far. I have this style in both Saddle Vacchetta and Sand Calf. The pointed toe and asymmetrical bow detail are among my favorite design elements in the Sarah Flint collection! They look great dressed up or dressed down and with 3mm of extra padding added to the footbed they are the epitome of comfort.

I have had my first pair of Natalie Flats for over a year now and they have held up so beautifully. They do stretch out as you break them in so keep that in mind when choosing a size. As mentioned earlier, they speak to this in the “Fit Notes” on the website. I went with my size IT 38 and they are just right. A classic style to wear for years to come and definitely worth the wardrobe investment!

Sarah Flint Emma Sling

The Emma Sling is a 2 inch slingback pump with the most gorgeous V-shaped vamp and pointed toe. In terms of comfort, the inset block heel provides the height of the pump without the heaviness of a traditional block heel. I own the Cognac Calf, but the Tortoise Patent is on my wishlist. I love how this sophisticated classic adds the perfect amount of height and lengthens the look of your legs. This style also comes as a Perfect Emma, sans slingback and even more comfort!

I have had my first pair of Emma Slings for over a year now and they have held up incredibly well. I wear these so much in the fall and winter! These don’t really stretch out as you break them in so keep that in mind when choosing a size. As mentioned earlier, they speak to this in the “Fit Notes” on the website. I went with my size IT 38 and they are just right. Again, a worthy wardrobe investment!

Sarah Flint Perfect Pump

The Perfect Pump is Sarah’s most well known shoe and it’s comfort speaks for itself! This pump is beyond chic due to it’s pointed toe and V-shaped vamp. With an expanded toe box, anatomical arch support, steel rod stiletto heel, and 6mm of extra footbed padding you will forget that you even have on heels! It comes in 3 heel heights – 50mm (2 inches), 85mm (3.3 inches), and 90mm (4 inches). I personally find the 85mm to be my favorite and am in the process of growing my own collection with the Sand Calf, Navy Suede, Black Suede, Cabernet Suede (a Meghan Markle owned shade), and Taupe Suede!

Sarah Flint Perfect Block Sandal

The Perfect Block Sandal is the sandal version of the beloved Perfect Pump. With an inset block heel, expanded toe box, anatomical arch support, and 6mm of extra footbed padding you will be running laps in these sandals! It comes in 3 heel heights – 30mm (1 inch), 60mm (2.5 inches), and 90mm (3.5 inches). I own the 90mm in White Calf, but I would also love the 60mm in Sand Calf!

I got my first Perfect Block Sandal this past March and they still look brand new. I wore these consistently to work during spring/summer! I would say that these don’t really stretch out as you break them in so keep that in mind when choosing a size. As mentioned earlier, they speak to this in the “Fit Notes” on the website. I went with my size IT 38 and they are just right. Again, a worthy wardrobe investment!
