With Easter right around the corner it’s time to pull out all of the pretty pastels! I say this every year, but Easter truly is one of my favorite holidays. When Easter comes it is like a turning point from the grey days of winter into the sunny warm days ahead. That is exactly what I wanted to reflect with today’s table setting!

When setting a table, I always find it best to keep things simple and clean. I know it can be tempting to use every bunny and egg decoration that you can find, but with these tips I hope you feel refreshed and stress free while preparing for your Easter gatherings!

Easter themed desserts:

First things first… You know I have to talk about the desserts! These adorable mini bundt cakes make for perfect bird’s nests when the tops are iced and sprinkled with chopped pecans. Aren’t they precious?! I feel as though I had a major blogger fail by not adding some mini candy eggs in the middle of each one though! These bundt cakes are a spin off of the traditional Easter dessert, Hummingbird Cake. Appropriately named, right?! Simply use this Hummingbird Bundt Cake recipe and split the batter up between mini bundt pans. It should make about 8 mini bird’s nests.

I am head over heels for this Easter Platter and Dessert Plates made by my sweet friend Maizie Clarke Luxury Ceramics and Gifts. I mean how crazy talented is she?! This adorable set would make for the perfect hostess gift or Mother’s Day gift this Spring! She was even kind enough to give GFG readers an exclusive discount using the link above!

Let your tablecloth do the talking:

An easy way to pull together a table setting is by starting with beautiful linens. When you start with the tablecloth you are able to pull colors and inspiration for the rest of the tabletop. There are so many beautiful Easter options – Think watercolor, floral, gingham, or stripes!

The bunny ear napkin fold:

While you could try and attempt an origami style napkin fold, I opted for this simple and easy method. I love how it doesn’t look too stuffy while still adding a touch of theme to the table! Simply fold your napkin from point to point into a triangle, loosely roll it up, fold it in half, and tie a thin ribbon around the center to keep it in place. Ta-da, bunny ears!

Calligraphy egg name cards:

Another fun way to bring the Easter theme to your table is by using some beautifully colored eggs as name cards at each setting. If you are anything like my family then your Easter dinner doesn’t typically consist of something as formal as name cards, but I know these eggs will still be such a hit! Simply take a faux egg (or boiled) and use a paint pen to write each person’s name. They will love taking these little tokens home. Your guests will feel so special knowing that you thought of every fun detail!
