Peppermint Dark Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/4 cups dark cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 bag white melting chocolate
  • candy canes crushed

Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/4 cups dark cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 bag white melting chocolate
  • candy canes crushed
Instructions
  1. Whisk together flour, dark cocoa, baking soda, and sea salt. Set aside.
  2. In an electric mixer beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar on medium high speed until mixture is light and smooth.
  3. Reduce mixer to low speed and add in eggs and peppermint. Beat until well combined.
  4. Add in flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time until just combined.
  5. Chill dough overnight or at least two hours.
  6. Line baking sheet with parchment paper, scoop 1 tablespoon of dough and roll into a ball, place on baking sheet, and bake on 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until middle has set.
  7. Let cool completely.
  8. Dip half of the cookie into the melted white chocolate, sprinkle with crushed candy cane, and let set before packaging.
