This creamy and nutty homemade dressing has quickly become a favorite of mine. I was pretty hesitant when it came to tahini, but mixed with the lemon juice it is beyond perfect! I love that this dressing recipe only uses 5 ingredients and takes all of 2 minutes to make, not to mention, versatile. It is just as great on rice bowls or vegetables as it is on salads!

Since making the switch to whole food plant-based, I have never been more into dressings and dips! I realized early on that if I have a great dressing, I’ll eat twice as many vegetables or salads without feeling like I’m missing my old foods. The transition was made so much easier thanks to flavor packed dressings like this one.

Let’s make some!

First, I know what you’re wondering…

What is Tahini?

Tahini is a paste made of ground sesame seeds. It originated in the Middle East and is used by itself or in dips like hummus. It is super rich and creamy with a nutty flavor that makes it great in pretty much any type of recipe, but especially dressings.

  • Lemon – One whole lemon, juiced
